James Madison University’s winter break for 2024 will take place from December 14, 2024, when the fall semester ends, until January 21, 2025, when the spring semester begins.
During this period, residence halls and dining services will be closed, and students are encouraged to make arrangements for their accommodations if they plan to stay on campus.
Additionally, there is a winter session running from January 6 to January 17, 2025, which is optional for students and faculty. This includes various classes that may meet during the break.
