Undergraduate Enrollment for Spring 2024 Begins in Early November 2023 (check UVA SIS for specific appointments).
Thursday, November 30, 2023 is the last day to Apply for Readmission for the Spring 2024 Term (Use eForm in SIS; late forms will not be accepted).
UVA January term classes begin on January 2, 2024 to January 12, 2024.
Martin Luther King Day Holiday is Monday, January 15, 2024 on the UVA academic calendar 2023-2024.
Tuesday, January 16, 2024 is the deadline to request a Leave of Absence for the Spring 2023 Term (use eForm in SIS).
UVA Spring 2024 classes start on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. The first day of Spring classes 2024.
The Last Day to Add a Class is Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
According to UVA academic calendar, Wednesday, January 31, 2024 is the last day to;
- Select the AU (Audit) Option.
- Change to or from “Credit/No Credit” Option.
- Request Part-Time Status/Reduced Course Load (the add deadline).
The last day to Drop a Class is Thursday, February 1, 2024.
Friday, March 1, 2024 is the last day of Classes before Spring Recess 2024.
UVA Spring break 2024 is from Saturday, March 2, 2024 to Sunday, March 10, 2024. Classes Resume after Spring break holidays on Monday, March 11, 2024.
Wednesday, March 13, 2024 is the last day to Withdraw from a Course.
Wednesday, April 24, 2024 is the last day to Request a Change in the Examination Schedule.
Spring 2024 Classes end on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
Reading Days are Wednesday, May 5, 2024 to Sunday, May 8, 2024.
Spring 2024 examinations period is from Thursday, May 2, 2024 to Friday, May 10, 2024.
Friday, May 10, 2024 is the last day to Withdraw from the Semester. Requires Advance Notice and Paper Form if any grades have been posted (students should contact their Association Dean in the College) according to UVA academic calendar 2023-2024.
Spring 2024 final grades are due 48 hours after Final Exam on Monday, May 13, 2024.
UVA Finals Weekend 2024 exercises period is Friday, May 17, 2024 to Sunday, May 19, 2024.
Friday, June 7, 2024 is the deadline for Completing Authorized Incompletes from the Spring Semester.
Saturday, July 1 (tentative) is the last day to Apply for August 2024 Graduation.
