TCU Academic Calendar Fall 2024.

Check out the important dates and deadlines on the TCU academic calendar for fall 2024.

1. TCU move in day for fall 2023 is from Wednesday, August 16, 2023 to Monday, August 21, 2023. Students will be emailed a specific Move-In / Check-In timeslot for August 12 or 16, 2023.
2. TCU Fall 2023 Pre-Registration ends on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
3. TCU Fall 2023 classes start on Monday, August 21, 2023. It is the first day of classes for the regular session.
4. The last day for Enrollment or Changing Classes is Friday, August 25, 2023.
5. Sunday, August 27, 2023 is the last day to Withdraw a 100% Tuition Refund.
6. The last day to Withdraw a 75% Tuition Refund is Sunday, September 3, 2023.
7. Labor Day Holiday is Monday, September 4, 2023, according to the TCU holiday calendar 2023. There are no classes.
8. Sunday, September 10, 2023 is the last day To Withdraw at 50% Tuition Refund.
9. The last day to Withdraw a 25% Tuition Refund is Sunday, September 17, 2023.
10. TCU Fall Break 2023 is from Thursday, October 5, 2023 to Sunday, October 8, 2023. Classes Resume on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 8 a.m.
11. Unsatisfactory grades are due to Registrar, on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 9:00 am.
12. Thursday, October 19, 2023 is the last day To Remove “I” Grade From Spring & Summer 2023, according to the TCU academic calendar 2023-2024.
13. The last day to drop for regular Sessions is Monday, November 6, 2023.
14. TCU Thanksgiving Break 2023 is from Saturday, November 18, 2023 to Sunday, November 26, 2023. Texas Christian University Thanksgiving break is 1 week long, according to TCU holiday calendar. The University closes from Friday, November 24, 2023. TCU classes resume after the Holidays on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 8 a.m.
15. Monday, November 27, 2023 is the last day To Select P/NC for the Regular Session.
16. Wednesday, December 6, 2023 is the last day of class for the regular session, according to the TCU academic calendar 2023-2024.
17. TCU Fall 2023 Study Day is from Thursday, December 7, 2023 and Friday, December 8, 2023.
18. Fall 2023 final exams begin from Monday, December 11, 2023 to Friday, December 15, 2023.
19. Graduating Student grades are due at 5 p.m on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
20. Fall dining plans end at dinner on Friday, December 15, 2023. Dining is limited over Winter Break.
21. TCU graduation 2023 and Commencement is on Saturday, December 16, 2023.
22. If you are not returning to the same housing space for the spring 2024 semester, you must check out by 12:00pm on Saturday, December 16, 2023. If your spring room is not ready by that time, you must take your items home or store them off-campus.
23. According to the TCU academic calendar, graduating seniors must checkout by 12:00pm on Sunday, December 17, 2023.
24. TCU winter break 2023 is from Monday, December 18, 2023 to Monday, January 15, 2024. Residence halls remain open over Winter Break. There is no charge for Winter Break housing; however, if you will be on-campus any time between December 18, 2023 – January 15, 2024, you must register on the TCU housing portal, beginning November 1, 2023. Fraternity & Sorority Chapter Facilities are closed over Winter Break. Any request for an exception must be sent to fslhousing@tcu.edu.
