- JMU Spring 2025 Classes start on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
- February 11, 2025, Tuesday, is the last day to withdraw from the university with cancellation of tuition charges and refund. Student Assessment/Faculty Assistance is available (no classes 8 a.m.- 3:55 p.m.), while evening classes (those beginning 3:55 p.m. or later) meet as scheduled.
- First Block courses end on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
- Mid-semester grades are due in the Office of the Registrar on Friday, March 14, 2025.

- Thursday, May 15, 2025, is the deadline for completion of coursework for May graduates. Commencement Ceremonies will follow from May 15 to 17, 2025, Thursday to Saturday.
